The NEW GECKO VAN tyre carrier for Sprinters bolts to the hinges and installs in minutes with only one holed to drill. Used by the industry's top outfitters, this carrier is rock solid. Quality

We use mandrel-bent CDS steel tubing to achieve lightweight and strength.

Our carriers are incredibly lightweight and offer superior durability, coming in at just over 12kgs. Aluminium is excellent in the proper application, but steel can be a better choice for road products that face a lot of vibration. Aluminium, although light, can catastrophically fail in high vibration environments.

Hinge requirements 

To install the wheel carrier, you need to be sure you have the correct hinges on your vans. Mercedes Sprinters supplied after 2018 from the factory with 270-degree hinges. As a result, the doors fit flat back against the side of the van. However, there is a factory-supplied option for a 180-degree hinge required to install our wheel carrier.
